Gemini Called my place of employment??

So to finish getting verified on Gemini, I had to submit a paystub of my current place of employment. This paystub did not have my employers phone number on it… So Gemini must have googled my place of employment and found their phone number. Just kind of creepy and odd when your boss hands you a sticky note saying that Tammy at Gemini called and to give her a call back… 3 hours later I was verified, but still I don't like that they called my place of employment, and I work for a small business so finding their number was probably not the easiest thing.. Thoughts?
