I've read and read and read about BIP148, UASF, BU, all the forks and spoons and I'm confused as hell and about to check in to a mental hospital… but truly, I am disappointed that the community is so divided over this. We are smart civil people, not savages, why can't we talk nicely and come to a logical outcome?
I have a few questions, if anyone is interested to answer me.
1) Without resorting to personal attacks or names calling, can someone explain to me why people oppose Segwit?
2) Can someone explain to me why people oppose Bitcoin Unlimited?
3) Both are sensible choices, why can't we start with 1 and then the other? Wouldn't this solve the problems for both parties? I mean, it's not like you can only choose one… why can't we do both, maybe 1 first and then the other?
